63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival: Opening Night Dinner

Eva Longoria Parker

Aishwarya Rai

This is the reason why I anticipate the Cannes Film Festival all year, stunning actresses in breathtaking gowns! It's only day one and these women are not playing any games, they are letting me have it!

Eva Longoria Parker looks magnificent in her ivory tiered Emilio Pucci strapless chiffon gown. The long train is beyond spectacular!

Aishwarya Rai looks marvelous in her violet embroidered tulle Elie Saab off-the-shoulders gown.

Another breathtaking moment! Kate Beckinsale is blowing me away in this ice blue remarkable tulle Marchesa embellished dress. It's just simply magical. She is pure perfection from her modern messy up-do to her incredible diamond earrings.

If my husband was Francois Henri Pinaul, the Ceo Of the Gucci Group which also includes Balenciaga, I would be rocking the very first couture gown from Gucci Premiere collection too.

Salma Hayek looks fantastic in this burgundy silk georgette Gucci couture dress. The encrusted asymmetrical shoulder is beyond gorgeous.

All good things must come to an end. I am soooo distraught because the late Alexander McQueen hand picked this silver eagle motif gown for Cate Blanchett but I am not feeling this dress at all.

It just looks too much like a hideous costume for one of her movies. Please forgive me fashion god!

Natalie Imbruglia looks absolutely amazing in this nude embellished Alberta Ferretti dress.

I know women in their twenties who can't compete with Helen Mirren. She is beyond youthful at the age of 64 in this black asymmetrical with embroidered strap Elie Saab gown.
