Michelle Obama put designer Sophie Theallet on the map by wearing her fabulous designs on numerous occasions. I fell in love with Sophie in 2008 when she launch her Spring 2009 with amazing silhouettes and stunning African-American models. She still continues to use beautiful African-American models such as Kinee Diouf, Ataui Dong, Joan Smalls and Nana Keita.
The collection was beyond marvelous from the first look to the very last look. Theallet is known for her feminine romantic dresses. The color palette was vibrant and exciting as always with shirt and wrap dresses and breezy garments.
Sophie Theallet is surely on my top ten favourite designer list because she is not afraid to book gorgeous African-American models in her shows and her collections are breathtaking!
