New Year Eve At The Bank Hosted by Usher

Usher and wifey Tameka Foster are really looking great together. She looks amazing after just having her 18th(oops, I mean 5th) child just two days ago. I guess those divorce rumors are false!

It is widely assumed that dark-skinned Blacks experience higher rates of racial discrimination than their lighter-skinned cohorts.

A recent study of 300 Black adults revealed that dark-skinned Blacks were 11 times more likely to experience frequent racial discrimination than their light-skinned counterparts; 67% of subjects reporting high discrimination were dark-skinned and only 8.5% were light-skinned. These findings suggest that skin color indeed may be a marker for racial discrimination.

Do you think criticism of Tameka is the result of her darker skin color?

Lady Sutton, I appreciate your intelligent observation. I just can't belive in this day and age we as African-Americans are still discriminating against each other because of our skin color. African-American women are gorgeous from Alek Wek to Vanessa Williams. It pains me that we are still stuck in that primitive theory. I guess the "Master" won. As far as Tameka,I don't have a problem with her being dark skin, my problem is she much older than Usher and had three children prior to their marriage. I know it's none of my business and all that matters is they love each other.

Likewise, it pains me that we are still bound by the hue of our skin color.

It was puzzling when Usher opted to marry an older, divorced mother of three children. Go figure;-)
